General Care

• Our metal furniture is hand fabricated from new steel. It is then treated with a water based substance that darkens the surface. This substance causes a natural oxidation that turns the steel to colors in a range from black to blue to rust red. After the steel is treated with the oxidation agent a clear furniture grade paste wax is applied to seal it and protect it from scratches. (Briwax Clear Paste Wax).
• This furniture should be cleaned with a damp cloth to remove any dirt. Do not use chemical cleaners or abrasive pads. It is recommended that the wax finish be reapplied periodically for maximum protection.
• Briwax Clear Paste Wax should be applied to the console every couple of months to prevent scratches and rusting.
